(1) 2010 18U Player Registration Form

(2) Uniform.  All 18U players must have a uniform.  If the player does not already have a uniform, they are ordered separately on the Apparel page.

(3) 2010 Player Medical History and Release Form.  As part of registration, all players must fill out and turn in this form.  It will be provided to the coach in case of a medical emergency.  Coaches must have them available at all practices and games.  Note: If you have already submitted this form in a previous year and there are no changes, you do not need to submit it again.

(4) Copy of Birth Certificate.  As part of registration, all players must turn in a copy.  This is required for league insurance and for Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA)  tournament participation.  Note: If you have already submitted this copy in a previous year, you do not need to submit it again.

2010 18U Overview:

This year we are planning for a number of teams playing in the Southern Minny League that is run by the Austin, MN Park and Recreation.  This is a traveling, competitive league that is ASA sanctioned.  Given our competitive level, teams will be submitted to the "Dazzling" division and/or "Blooming Stars" division.

Teams will also be playing in at least three weekend tournaments during the summer.  The actual tournaments will be determined at the first coach, player, and parent team meeting after tryouts.  The team can choose to play in more that three tournaments at an additional cost.

2010 Southern Minny League Details copied from their Web Site:

U18 - Doubleheaders will be scheduled, first game to begin at 6 pm.  Two 7-inning games will be played.  Host team will be home team in game one.  Traveling team shall be home in game two.  Rain minimum to be counted as a game will be 4 1/2 or 5 innings.  Each win will count one point in the standings.  Home team will provide two new balls at the beginning of each game.  League play will begin June 2 with games on Tuesdays. Teams may use graduated seniors as long as they meet the state age requirements.  The league may also be divided into 2 levels depending on registration numbers.

2010 Practices and League Games:

18U teams will practice on Sunday nights and play two 7-inning games on Tuesday nights.  There may be some additional games scheduled for Thursday nights if the team indicates this on the team registration form.  The team will play in at least three weekend tournaments.
