(1) 2010 14U Player Registration Form

(2) Uniform.  All 14U players must have a uniform.  If the player does not already have a uniform, they are ordered separately on the Apparel page.

(3) 2010 Player Medical History and Release Form.  As part of registration, all players must fill out and turn in this form.  It will be provided to the coach in case of a medical emergency.  Coaches must have them available at all practices and games.  Note: If you have already submitted this form in a previous year and there are no changes, you do not need to submit it again.

(4) Copy of Birth Certificate.  As part of registration, all players must turn in a copy.  This is required for league insurance and for Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA)  tournament participation.  Note: If you have already submitted this copy in a previous year, you do not need to submit it again.

Parent Coaches:

Teams will be coached by parent volunteers.  If you would like to be involved in coaching your daughter's team, please fill out the application forms on the Coaches page.

Tryouts:

All 14U registered players are required to attend tryouts.  See the registration forms for dates and times.  The tryouts are used to determine skill level, and allows the K-M 14U teams to be selected for the appropriate league and tournament level that matches them and allows them to be competitive and improve.

All 14U registered players will be placed on a team.

2010 14U Overview:

This year we are planning for a number of teams playing in the Southern Minny League that is run by the Austin, MN Park and Recreation.  This is a traveling, competitive league that is ASA sanctioned.  Based on tryouts, the player will be selected for a team.  Given our competitive level, teams will be submitted to the "Dazzling" division and/or "Blooming Stars" division.

Teams will also be playing in at least three weekend tournaments during the summer.  The actual tournaments will be determined at the first coach, player, and parent team meeting after tryouts.  The team can choose to play in more that three tournaments at an additional cost.

2010 Southern Minny League Details copied from their Web Site:

U14 - The nights of play will be Monday and Wednesday.  League standings as of June 22 will determine which teams go to Class A, B, C, or D.  Leagues will be divided if needed.  League starts June 1.  Games shall begin at 6 pm and no new inning shall begin after 65 minutes of the first game and for the second game 1 1/4 hours from the start of the first game.  Two 7-inning games will be played, as time permits, with a 5-minute break between games.  One point will be awarded for each game win in the standings.  In case of rain, 2 1/2 or 3 innings is considered complete.  Host team is home first game, visitor the second game.  Players must hustle on and off the field in order to complete games before dark.   May re-enter all players including substitutes once during the course of a game.

2010 Schedule for Practices, League Games, and Weekend Tournaments:

14U teams will practice on Sunday nights and play two 7-inning games on Monday and Wednesday nights.  The team will play in at least three weekend tournaments.
